Hello!!! I'm so glad you have chosen to visit my website. More importantly, I am thrilled that you have decided to enroll in a Business Education Class. Business Education prepares students for a variety of careers and gives them skills necessary to be successful in any career field they may choose.
I have been a teacher at Gordonsville High School for 10 years. I enjoy teaching and sponsoring FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). I am married to Jeff Mason and we have three children. Our oldest daughter Maggie is 17 and an 12th grader here at GHS. Our middle daughter Lou is 15 and a 10th grader at Gordonsville High School. Our son Jax just turned 5 and keeps us all on our toes!! When I'm not here at GHS, I enjoy watching my girls play softbal. Maggie and Lou both play softball on the high school team at GHS. Maggie also plays on a travel softball ball team. If I am not at school, I can usually be found at a ball park! I love to read, hang out with my family, and watch the Gilmore Girls! I beginning to run again after a year long break from running. I have completed various 5ks, a 10k known as the Cooper River Bridge Run and the Music City Half Marathon. I am as slow as 90s dial up Internet, but I run!! I attend Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon, TN. At Hillcrest I assist in the 3-4 grade girls Awana Club. This is a class where 3rd and 4th graders memorize Bible verses. It is a lot of fun and once a year we compete against other churches to see who can remember the most information and verses from the Bible. (Anybody who reads this and can tell me what AWANA stands for-without "googling it" gets a coke from me!) My hope and prayer for you all is that this year be the best yet; that new doors are opened for you; and that you realize there is nothing you cannot accomplish!! There is a great big world out there!! Let's learn about it! Let's expand our horizons!! Let's Dream BIG!! Jeremiah 29:11For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. |
